One of the emerging challenges faced by any higher educational institution is the development, application and maintenance of quality benchmarks in all its key performance areas. To institutionalize the process of quality sustenance and enhancement, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been established in our campus. The IQAC is a nodal agency of our campus for ushering in the era of total quality management by working out intervention strategies to enhance overall quality in the institution. The Cell has been established for performance evaluation, assessment and accreditation and quality up gradation of institutions of higher education. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an institution’s system and work towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of institutions. The IQAC will make a significant and meaningful contribution in the post-accreditation phase of institutions. During the post-accreditation period, the IQAC will channelize the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence.
A separate Cell for ‘Entrepreneurship Development (EDP)’ has been established in our College. EDC has organised many programmes for third and Final Year B.E. students. The EDP Cell is an initiative, of the young minds at this institution, headed for this situation that demands individuals to come up with their own innovative ideas and their own entrepreneurial ventures.
The main objective of this cell is to train and motivate the Science and Technology (S&T) persons to become Job Creators rather than Job Seekers. The objectives of EDP Cell are:
To inculcate the entrepreneurial culture into their minds.
To conduct
To assist them in starting industries of their own right from
Women historically have been under presented in scientific and technical fields. Protests against the treatment of women began during the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Originally it focused on the promotion of equal contract and property rights for women. However by the end of nineteenth century women development focused on gaining education, political power and equal rights.

It has begun its mission to promote and support the advancement of women in the professional fields. It seeks to empower women as decision maker, to achieve economic, social and gender justice, a healthy, peaceful planet.
The Cell plans to organize lectures and interactive sessions with experts in different fields, create awareness about all the important issues, hold group discussions on different relevant topics.
