B.Arch

Duration :
5 years Full Time, Ten semesters with one year internship programme on IV year and Thesis on 10th semester
Intake :
80 per year, every year in the month of May/June.

Entry Requirements :

Minimum 50% for BC students and 45%minimum for SC&ST students in higher secondary examination with maths as mandatory subject.50% in Diploma civil of any government recognized institution.

Entrance exam :

Students have to pass the NATA exam( national aptitude test for architecture) for the eligibility for admission.

Course Breakup

I Year

Students learn the basics of creativity and expression of art or basic architecture through papers like

  • Art studio
  • Basic design
  • Architectural drawing
  • Learn architectural drawing to prepare drawings.
  • Learn small scale building design and construction techniques to architectural design I and building construction I.
II Year :

Students learn the application of construction techniques through building construction and building materials.

  • Study the evolution of Indian rural architecture and ancient Indian construction techniques and rural planning through “RURAL SURVEY IN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN”.
  • Students learn transformation of drawings through “COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN”.
  • The students will be able to learn the 2d and 3d drafting techniques, 3d view, photoshop, 3dsmax, sketch up.etc.
III Year :
  • Students learn the “large scale projects and design “through architectural design.
  • Learn legal aspects of architectural professional practice through “professional practice and ethics.”
IV Year :
  • Students go for “INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME” to understand architecture through training
  • Students analyze and research on topic related to architecture through “DISSERTATION”.
V Year :
  • Students learn urban aspects of architecture through “URBAN DESIGN”.
  • Students learn the research methodology and process of design through tenth semester “THESIS”.
